For
the eighteenth consecutive year, Roper Mountain Science Center
will be transformed into the magical site of Roper Mountain
Holiday Lights, a family Christmas tradition for the entire
upstate.
For only $10 per car, mini-van, or SUV, etc., $15 per activity
van, and $20 per bus, motorists and their passengers will take
a spectacular drive through the natural setting of Roper Mountain
Science Center to view more than 100 towering light displays,
complemented by animation and whimsical landscape lighting.
Feature attractions include a brilliantly illuminated 45-foot
star, a drive through the tunnel of lights, an animated snowball
fight, and the rollicking candy cane lane. And you wont
want to miss this years newest and largest display, the
Candy Cane Factory, complete with gears, smoke and candy canes
in motion! Gates open at 6:00 PM each evening and close at 10:00
PM.
This holiday event, which begins Thanksgiving night and runs
through December 30, 2010, is sponsored by the the Rotary Club
of Greenville and the Roper Mountain Science Center Association.
Proceeds from the event are donated to Upstate charities and
education.
